MATLAB® and Simulink® for Engineering Educationnew
Seminar Overview
|
Join us for a complimentary, half-day seminar to see how MathWorks tools, with their rich modeling and computational capabilities can help accelerate the pace of learning, discovery, and research in engineering education. Incorporating MathWorks tools into an engineering curriculum enables students to investigate what-if scenarios and experiment with data, algorithms, and models. They gain proficiency in problem solving, analysis, and design while using industry-standard tools. In this seminar, a MathWorks Application Engineer will demonstrate how engineering curricula can be enhanced with the incorporation of MATLAB® and Simulink®. Examples shown will range from the usage of MATLAB to teach first-year basics of engineering mathematics, to the usage of Simulink for project work involving multi-domain system design and implementation. Attendees will be guided to resources that are available to engineering faculty to develop their own curricula based on a single set of tools from MathWorks. Dr. S.N. Deepa - Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Anna University Coimbatore, will deliver a guest lecture during this seminar. Dr. Deepa will present on ‘Control System Design and Simulation Tools – A Teaching Perspective’, and share her experience in teaching and researching with MathWorks software. This seminar has been designed to be an ‘instructors only’ seminar. If you are a student, please do not register for this seminar. You are however welcome to forward the invitation to your instructors. |
